I am very sorry for being an imperfect mother yesterday while you were here. I try really, really hard to allow my daughters's true personalities to take root and grow and flourish so that they will be confident and accepting of themselves. But sometimes it's all I can do to not tie them up. I can tolerate the occasional laziness. Yes, it's laziness. Like when she doesn't pick up her pajamas in the morning. Or when she crochets the cutest little things which results with yarn all over the place but when this happens:
Or this:
Or when I find cut up celery stalks in my cutlery drawer instead of the trash can because it was closer to just put them in the drawer or when I find scraps of origami shoved under my computer, in her book bag, in her closet, what do you expect from me? Again, I am sorry I was imperfect yesterday but that girl had fair warning it was coming. By the way, the dishwasher is fantastic. Thanks for installing it for us AND being apart of our chaos!
