Do you ever have those moments when you think "yep, there is something wrong with me"? I do. I had one last night. We had a family fun night where we sat and played Phase10. We had so much fun and I think it is my husband's favorite game (hmm, learned something new about him last night). Anyway, it was a brand spanking new game and he didn't want it to get ruined or crumpled or lost or anything because he wanted it to stay, how did he put it, "perfect" or something. He was on his way to put it away and I looked and him and said, "hey you, that goes downstairs with the rest of the games in the box with the other cards on the top shelf designated for games". He looked at me and said, "no I am putting this somewhere were it won't get ruined by the kids." I said, "I don't think so. I need everything to be put where it belongs. Games go with games. Spoons go with spoons. Cups go with cups." It was this big, little argument that was super fun for him but absolutely made me crazy. As I am justifying my reasons for this (which I shouldn't have to do, just go put the game where it belongs) he walks away and puts it somewhere that I have no idea where it is. Now it is driving me nuts because I want to put it where the games are! That is where it belongs! That's its herd! He just doesn't get it. Okay, maybe I am being a little OCD but my goodness, just put the game where it belongs. I have to come up with something clever and funny to get back at him. This may take some thinking on my part. In the meantime, enough blogging. I am off to defend justice and return a game to its proper place in the world. I know complete nonsense!
