Dry Shampoo

Sometimes I have those days that I just don't want to wash my hair.  Oh come on, I know you all have those days.  That's why ponytails exist.  Even if it is too short to barely make it into a ponytail (like mine).  I don't know who the genius is that invented "dry shampoo" but they deserve the Nobel Peace Price because I personally think they have saved this world from complete chaos.  I bought my first can of dry shampoo just to see if it really worked.  I paid like $2 for it.  I went cheap.

And I LOVE IT! It is amazing.  I know that the idea is to spray it into your hair and then you brush your hair out and it freshens your style for you.  But did you know that you can blow dry your hair with it too?  It doesn't work as well as if you blow dry your hair wet but it is good enough for me.  My schedule consists of me working out in the middle of the day. (Don't ask. It's a very looooong and borrrrring explanation and it's just nonsense - actually it isn't really nonsense but to most people it would be).  Anyway, back to dry shampoo. I workout in the middle of the day so of course that leaves me looking pretty bad at about 4:00 in the afternoon.  Sweat dripping off my hair, ends going everywhere, elastic creases, etc., etc..  A lot happens in the day after 4:00 p.m. that needs me to be looking somewhat acceptable in public.  Most of the time I only have time for a quick sponge bath, lots of deodorant and a change of clothes.  In comes the dry shampoo.  I spray this miracle stuff through my hair and it absorbs all of the sweat and oil and I quickly run a round brush through it and, VOILA!  I look pretty acceptable.  Okay, give yourself a break from the norm and go get a bottle of dry shampoo. And just to put to rest any questions you have of my hygiene practices, I shower at night.  Then I still use my dry shampoo the next morning to get ready for the day!  Um, that seems pretty chaotic on paper....but it isn't in reality! My next blog...why I want to be an assassin in my next life but only with a can of dry shampoo strapped to my thigh!
